Six months ago Chalong Fishing Park opened its gates
Six months ago Chalong Fishing Park opened its gates to the public for the first time and what a rollercoaster ride it has been. We have welcomed hundreds of different people from all over the globe and formed firm new friendships with many as well as having the pleasure of visits from old friends.
During the last six months we have overcome several problems, not least of all a serious water loss which as the photos show is no longer an issue with the lake now maturing and looking so much better.
None of this would have been possible without the support of our consultants and accountants team at Phuket Consult and the landlord of the year award must go to Thames Kraitat of Kraitat Real Estate.
We have also had amazing support from several local business owners and individuals, some old friends and some new, too many to name but you all know who you are and thank you.

Matthew & Boy with the largest Chao Phraya Catfish caught at Chalong Fishing Park to-date. Matthew landed this one on his own.
Last but by no means least is my better half Jen (Chenchira Srisuk) who has been part of this from the start. She has helped in so many ways I could not begin to list them all. She runs the whole place superbly, is great with the customers and can have a beer with lads (out doing many!). Her work load and pressure have been immense with hardly any time off since we opened, she has been my rock… Thank you Jen, I could not have done it without you xxx.
We have loads of ideas and plans to improve the place and I think we are on the right road with our Facebook and trip advisor reviews paying testament to that so onwards and upwards and once again THANK YOU all.
