Recently Moved Back to Phuket

MORNING WORLD…..

 
Andrew and his parents have recently moved back to Phuket from the USA and joined us for some fishing yesterday. Andrew is fairly inexperienced but that or the rain did not deter him form catching loads of fish from several different species in just a few hours with the Amazon Red Tails really hammering his hook baits…..certain to be back we think.
 
Just a couple of days to go until we host a bit of a bash for Loy Krathong, halloween and to christen our new lake. Some costumes, both traditional Thai and spooky for halloween are sure to be seen and there will be food, live music and of course the bar will be open as usual with everyone welcome.
 
Its still ridiculously quiet here so why not take advantage of having the lake and staff to yourself at silly rates for silly times and some …..”FUNFISHIN!”…..??????????

DEALS

We have had a couple of people ask us if we are currently doing any deals and so the poster below should answer that question as we are basically offering our fishing at half price in an effort to tempt ex pats and remaining stranded tourists on the Island. All the usual things are included in the price and with very little pressure on the lake, very good catch rates are to be expected. We have removed our short 3 hour session as it would just not be worth doing and the half day package is great value anyway.
 
Please note that we do not offer hourly rates and the packages that we are offering do not even come close to meeting our running costs so please do not ask for further reductions.
 
We were also offering a half days fishing with 8 cold ones included a couple of days a week for just 1,000 baht (do the math) but we had no takers so we will have a re think.
 
Virtually all businesses here are struggling with the majority not even open and many perhaps closed for good. We are very aware that this is the same world over and this is not a cry for help, just putting it out there for you and the fish photos were all caught in the last week so why not come and catch some for yourselves and enjoy some “FUNFISHIN!”…..??????????

A massive THANK YOU to our pal Gerald Greiner for yesterdays support. Gerald is the owner of the superb “FISH EAGLE” sports fishing boat based just up the road in Chalong Bay and lately they have been doing very well catching loads of Dorado, Tuna, Baraccuda, Sail Fish and Wahoo along with other salt water species so he decided to bring the whole Fish Eagle crew along with other friends and family for an afternoons fishing with us. Gerald called me Saturday night asking if we could fit them in on Sunday afternoon and although we are normally closed on Sundays our staff, Jack and Dii were more than happy to give up their day off so the slot was booked and thank you to them.

The gang turned up just after lunch and the action was pretty much non stop with loads of fish caught from several different species and lots of smiling faces. Gerald, myself and the man that makes “Fish Eagle” tick, Andrew Inman sat around the “Office” table making sure the fridge still worked and then we were joined by our pal Dave “No Fish” Allen who was just been released from hospital and for the time being will be known as Dave “No Wine or Beer” Allen, get well soon fella.

If anyone out there fancies their chances at catching some of the salt water species that are in abundance in the waters around Phuket we can highly recommend “Fish Eagle“, great boat and great crew and with hardly any boats out there right now there is no better time.

A great afternoon in great company and once again a big thanks to all who were involved for their support and anyone else who would like to take advantage of a very quiet lake with silly rates for silly times should come on down and enjoy some “FUNFISHIN”…..??????????
