Young Phillip from the Czech Republic is holidaying with his parents from Bangkok and they joined us for the morning. Lots of fish all round and one very happy young man.
 
The afternoon saw two families from China and they all got amongst ’em as well, its always good.
 
Although it is still really quiet for the time of year we have been blessed with a few more customers than we have been used to due to the holidays which unfortunately will come to an end soon. We will be closed for New Years Day tomorrow but back to normal on Saturday so why not make the most of the discounted rates, lots of space and lots of hungry fish, stay safe and enjoy some……”FUNFISHIN!”……..🐠🎣🐟🐠🎣🐟🐠🎣🐟😎

We have had a couple of people ask us if we are currently doing any deals and so the poster below should answer that question as we are basically offering our fishing at half price in an effort to tempt ex pats and remaining stranded tourists on the Island. All the usual things are included in the price and with very little pressure on the lake, very good catch rates are to be expected. We have removed our short 3 hour session as it would just not be worth doing and the half day package is great value anyway.
 
Please note that we do not offer hourly rates and the packages that we are offering do not even come close to meeting our running costs so please do not ask for further reductions.
 
We were also offering a half days fishing with 8 cold ones included a couple of days a week for just 1,000 baht (do the math) but we had no takers so we will have a re think.
 
Virtually all businesses here are struggling with the majority not even open and many perhaps closed for good. We are very aware that this is the same world over and this is not a cry for help, just putting it out there for you and the fish photos were all caught in the last week so why not come and catch some for yourselves and enjoy some “FUNFISHIN!”…..🐠🎣🐟🐠🎣🐟🐠🎣🐟😎

Cosmopolitan Group Chalong Fishing Park

On Sunday we were joined by Greg from Australia, his better half Khosi from South Africa, Julian from the UK and his better half Ing from Thailand. The cosmopolitan group had a very busy day with lots of fish from several species.
 
We have been lucky to have a few more customers than of late due to the festive break and we hope it will last.

Our thanks to our pal Paul Whittal for introducing us to a couple of young men yesterday, the brothers had a very busy session with lots of fish between them and with several double hook ups Pauls better half, Kannika had to step in and assist.
 
Still very quiet here but lots of hungry fish, a fridge full of cold ones and half price fishing rates so come and get amongst ’em and enjoy some “FESTIVE FUNFISHIN!”……🐟🐠🎣🐟🐠🎣🐟🐠🎣🎅😎

• 2 Rods, 1 Predator & 1 Non-Predator
• 3 KG of Ground Bait provided, Chicken/Fish Baits, Pop Up Boilies etc.
• Assistance From Guides.

Total for the above = 1,000 Baht (full day – over 5 hours) or 700 Baht (half day, up to 5 hours).

• Customers are welcome to bring their own bait and additional “Luum” ground bait can be purchased at 300 Baht per 3 kilos.
• Food Will Be Available from 10 am – 2 pm, with drinks available all day.
• Current Regulations Must be Observed.
• Ideally fishing should be pre-booked by contacting us by email, social media or calling 0811554336 (English) or 0939318395 (Thai).

As we come close to the end of a very strange and challenging year we would like to wish all of our customers and friends world over a very HAPPY CHRISTMAS and lets all hope for a better NEW YEAR.
 
We will be CLOSED on CHRISTMAS DAY 25TH DECEMBER and again on NEW YEARS DAY 1ST JANUARY but will be open as normal over the rest of the festive season.
 
A massive THANK YOU to those who have been so supportive over the last few months and to the many who have sent messages of support, some have even pre booked and paid for when they can return.

The young Thai lads continue to enjoy some good sport with the grown ups getting amongst ’em as well. Yesterday saw lots of fish once again, different sizes and different species keeping things interesting as you never know what you will hook into next.
