Red sky in morning, shepherds warning…..Some more rain forecast for this week and it looks like the monsoon is turning a little early this year which is good news for us.
 
Closed today but back at it from 8am tomorrow morning. There has not been a lot to report over the last few days with hardly any customers but change is on the way and we expect to see a little more activity over the Sonkran holidays and then gradually restrictions will be lifted with things returning to near normal eventually. I have already seen and had messages from customers and regular visitors to Phuket that they have booked to return and there are sure to be many more to follow so now is the time to make the most of the space, and discounted rates, not just here but at any of the many fishing parks across the Kingdom. There’s great variety with something for everyone and some of the best fishing available anywhere in the world so if the sea is a little rough and the beach not so appealing find yourself some shelter that all the lakes offer and enjoy some ….”FUNFISHIN!”……..🐟🐠🎣🐟🐠🎣🐟🐠🎣😎

DEALS

We have had a couple of people ask us if we are currently doing any deals and so the poster below should answer that question as we are basically offering our fishing at half price in an effort to tempt ex pats and remaining stranded tourists on the Island. All the usual things are included in the price and with very little pressure on the lake, very good catch rates are to be expected. We have removed our short 3 hour session as it would just not be worth doing and the half day package is great value anyway.
 
Please note that we do not offer hourly rates and the packages that we are offering do not even come close to meeting our running costs so please do not ask for further reductions.
 
We were also offering a half days fishing with 8 cold ones included a couple of days a week for just 1,000 baht (do the math) but we had no takers so we will have a re think.
 
Virtually all businesses here are struggling with the majority not even open and many perhaps closed for good. We are very aware that this is the same world over and this is not a cry for help, just putting it out there for you and the fish photos were all caught in the last week so why not come and catch some for yourselves and enjoy some “FUNFISHIN!”…..??????????

Internet Issues

Internet issues over the last few days hence the lack of posts but it seems that someone has now joined the cable back together so all good until the tape falls apart.
 
It’s still very quiet here but we are thankful that we have had a few customers over the last few days but those that have fished have been rewarded well with lots of fish and double hook-ups commonplace as this customer from England found out a few days ago.
 
With no rain for weeks now the water levels are dropping and the rain dance in full swing. We are told there is some rain coming soon and with Songkran just around the corner, the wet season will soon be back with us. The lake may not look as nice now but the fishing has definitely not been affected.
 
The weekend is here so why not take advantage of reduced prices and very high catch rates and enjoy some ….”FUNFISHIN!”…….🎣🎣🎣🐠🐠🐠🐟🐟🐟😎

Thankful to Welcome Some Repeat Guests

After a week without seeing any customers, we were thankful to welcome some repeat guests yesterday.
 
Our mate Peter returned and managed two Arapaima as part of a busy afternoon session and a third “Arry” for the day was awarded to another family group.
 
A few of the lads and lasses from “ISLANDER” in Rawai also joined us in the afternoon also “bagging up” nicely.
 
Prices are slashed, the fish are hungry and more than up for it so why not take advantage and join us for some ….”FUNFISHIN!”……..🐟🐠🎣🐟🐠🎣🐟🐠🎣😎

Couple Of Days Off

The fish have had a couple of days off and I reckon they’ll be hungry again from around 8am this morning.
 
With very few customers the catch rates are really high the record now stands at a staggering 86 fish in one day. We don’t pretend that all of our fish are record breakers and in fairness, there are a lot of smaller fish, mainly Pacu to keep you busy but there are many other species up to at least 80 KG and you never know what’s gonna take the bait so if its some action you are after why not take advantage of the space, heavily discounted rates, a full fridge and some …..”FUNFISHIN!”…….🐟🐠🎣🐟🐠🎣🐟🐠🎣😎
