When the Fish are biting
A busy few days with lots going on, some good and some not so good, life’s rich tapestry I guess.
After a little break on Songkran Day, we were back at it on the 14th and have been busy over the last couple of days with customers from all over the world including England, Australia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Thailand, China, Germany, Japan and no doubt other countries. Always nice to see the kids enjoying the fishing and equally rewarding to see some of the more senior customers enjoying themselves. The weather has been super hot of late with no rain to speak of for several days/weeks now and I’d be lying if I said that the fishing was at its best but still, lots of good fish are being caught. The Mekong Cats continue to feed well along with the Siamese Carp, a few more Pacu showing again now along with the Red Tails and various other species making up the numbers. The Arapaima has been hooked several times but we have not bought one to the pen for while. One customer had hooked a lovely baby Asian Red Tail and was bringing it in when “Arry” decided he wanted it, a screaming run ended in a slack line, the baby red tail was landed and “Arry” got away, I’m glad to say they are both doing fine, with baby red tail living to fight another day and “Arry” skipping a meal.
As the seasons change some of our customers do as well with fewer Europeans and more from the Southern hemisphere and it’s good to welcome back some of our Aussie friends, time to start changing those reel handles over.
We continue to be busy so please contact us before coming or better still book on our website. These days due to so many “no shows” we will not take any booking without a deposit, there are 3 options on how to do this so get in touch book your place and join us for some………”FUNFISHIN!”…………🎣🎣🎣🐠🐠🐠🐟🐟🐟😎😎😎
