A busy one yesterday with customers from all over the world fishing different packages and all catching with several different species coming to the nets.
We are thankful that at last things have picked up and for the first time in close to 3 years we have been able to re invest a little and a morning fish delivery of two truck loads of Mekong Catfish. We do already have a large head of these hard fighting brutes but a side affect of Covid was that they went right off the feed as soon as the customers stopped coming with much less bait going in the water. Our theory is that they just turned to natural food and they are still not responding to our offerings with just the odd one being caught where several used to be caught each day particularly in the dry season so we hope that the new editions will take the baits and may trigger the others into feeding as well. Only time will tell but we should get some idea over the next few days and there will be a prize up for grabs for the first person who catches one but be prepared for a fight, these things are pure muscle with a big tail and they just don’t give up !
