Another good start to the week with plenty of fish caught and several species.
Ben Waters fished with us several times last year and on Monday he was back for some more. He made the most of having the swim to himself as his mate who had booked the session didn’t turn up, Mekong and Chow Phraya Catfish amongst others gave him a decent workout, well done mate and good to see you again. Other customers from California and Estonia left with beaming smiles having caught several fish and singing our praises which left one afternoon customer who caught several decent fish including Siamese Carp which he posted on Google along with a 2 star review saying that the tackle was old (its all new this year), the hooks were blunt (ask for a new one) and that some guides are better than others (they are guides and not there to fish for you), perhaps if he had spent less time sitting with his girlfriend several feet away from his rods staring at his phone and expecting the guides to do everything for him he may have caught more as did the guy from California in the next swim to him who sat by his rods…..we’ll never please ’em all!
A very Australian affair yesterday with the majority of our customers coming from “down under”, some Chinese customers for short afternoon sessions and everyone getting amongst the fish.
Monday night saw a few good friends gather to celebrate our pal Malcom’s birthday, a great evening in great company.
Fewer bookings at the moment but with the holidays coming up its sure to pick up again any day for the end of the high season so no better time than now to put a bend in the rod, give us a shout and join us for some……..”FUNFISHIN!”……..
