Another very wet day, the rain falling on and off all morning and near non-stop in the afternoon with some really heavy bursts which understandably keeps the customers away.
We did see some customers and it was nice to welcome back Jim, down from Bangkok for a short break and he joined us for some Dad’Lad action with his Son Frank and his pal.
The rain did not stop ’em as they caught near non stop with lots of Siamese carp and Red Tail Cats among other species and a little more proof that a bit of dodgy weather really makes no difference at all to a lot of hungry fish.
More rain is forecast for the coming days, it’s not called “the rainy season” for nothing and while this is usually the wettest time of the year this one is particularly soggy. We have a few brave names in the book for the coming days and as I type there is nothing for today so there would be no better time than now to probably have the lake to yourself there is cover all around the lake so…..come on, man up and join us for some………….”FUNFISHIN!”……..
