MORNING WORLD……..Our pal Lewis has some mates over from the UK so a mornings fishing was booked. A bit of a slow start but the fish started to show and Lewis was rewarded with an Arapaima. The same went for Debbie and Steve who have been visiting us for several years now fishing at least once a week during they’re stay, lovely couple who have become friends and Steve was over the moon when he also got his first “Arry”, they are back for more in a few days for more of the same.
The Mekong Cats are still well on the munch and other species also getting in when they get a chance, the Siamese Carp and Red Tail Cats supplying more action when they are feeding which at the moment is a little erratic but still lots of fish being caught.
In spite of our efforts advising people to pre book we continue to get lots of people just turning up expecting a place which can be rare these days so when we say we are full we are not being negative and pointing to an empty peg and telling us there is space will not get you fishing. If we choose not to fish from a certain peg there will be a very good reason for it, it could and probably is already pre booked or it could just be that we have made a decision to cap numbers on that day and rest the peg, our decision is final and getting stroppy will not win you any friends.
