MORNING WORLD…… Not a bad second half of the week, lots of fish and lots of species for customers from all over the world. We welcomed back our old mate “LauKau” as he and the gang had just returned from Denmark and he wasted no time in getting back into his target Arapaima so a great way to get back into his fishing here and just a couple of hours later another “Arry” was also bought to the pen on the opposite bank….just like London buses, nothing then two at the same time !
Our quietest month is nearly over and if previous years are anything to go by things will get busier in the coming weeks. A big storm last night and for the first time in months this weather pattern came from the north east and usually its the south west monsoon that prevails at this time of the year so perhaps that is the first sign that the monsoons are shifting which is usually a gradual thing over around a month meaning more settled sunny days and much calmer waters for west coast beaches but don’t pack that brolly away yet, we are still sure to see more wet stuff but with cover all around the lake from both the sun and the rain you’ll be ok right up until you get in the water for that photograph and memories of some………”FUNFISHIN!”……..
