MORNING WORLD…….A busy second half of the week and while we and some of our regulars have noticed that the fishing has been tougher than we are used to at times the majority of our customers have been more than happy with they’re catches. The Mekong Cats continue to dominate but several other species also getting in on the action and the Siamese carp showing well some days, the same going for the Red Tails. Slower days can be overcome with a little more effort and sometimes you have to work for the bites. No excuses or theories, we all have them but no one knows if they are true or not and the bottom line is, thats fishing, it is actually supposed to be a bit of a challenge and not a fun fair side stall and what happens one day can be completely different the next.

It’s always nice to welcome back old faces that over the years have become friends, John is no exception and it was great to see him in action and making the most of our disabled access peg to do battle with the Mekong.

Unfortunately we have no choice in only taking bookings with deposits these days, very easy to do in person with cash, via Thai bank transfer or on our website via PayPal using a debit or credit card. There are some that say they only have cash and no cards (really? !) and they can just turn up but at this time of year the chances of getting walk in places are sometimes slim so far better to pre book, get your name down for a guaranteed place and join us for some
