MORNING WORLD………Very happy to see the first of our newly stocked Juliens Carp caught by a Chinese customer here on a short 2.5 hour session. I won’t pretend that the fishing has been as lively as usual with the blanket of cloud over the Island for the last week probably being a factor as we see more sunlight during the rainy season proper than we have done over the last few days. That said everyone is catching, as always some doing better than others and when the fishing is a little more challenging some slight tweaks or bait changes can make all the difference and we do have a selection of alternative baits for sale.
It was nice to see the return of our old friend Dave who was introduced to us by our mutual friend Paul Whittal who sadly cast his last line 3 years ago last week so quite apt that Dave had a busy afternoon landing several Mekong Catfish as we remembered our old mate.
Good friend and season ticket regular Dorothy added another Arapaima to her ever growing list along with Siamese Carp and Mekong Cats.
We have been busy every day and as we fast approach the peak season we will be busier still so please do try to plan your visit and give us some notice, we hate turning people away so the best thing to do is pre book through our website, get your name in the book and join us for some………”FUNFISHIN!”………
