HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US !
Another fairly busy day and once again loads of fish on a very British day with a couple of other customers from Russia.
Welshman Colin was singing from the valleys as he had a bumper day on his second visit in around a week with action right from the start from Siamese carp and Chao Phraya Catfish to get him warmed up. A good angler and a really nice fella so it seemed right to fish him alongside our friend Dot in the afternoon, she also got well amongst ’em and was not going to be outdone by Colin so she decided to bag Chao Phraya Catfish as well. Everyone else caught well, Ewan and Cameron from London joined us for the day and they too had lots to keep them busy. A nice day, smiles all round and a great bunch of people.
Six years ago today we opened our gates to the public for the very first time. I’d be lying if I said its all been easy but we have come a long way building customers from all over the world and making many new friends. A MASSIVE THANK YOU to all of them for their support and also to our many friends and businesses here that have played such a major part in making us what we are now, way too many to mention but they all know who they are. To celebrate our birthday we will be holding a “funfishin match” next Friday, just a bit of fun in the afternoon, usually a little messy and some food laid on into the evening. There are still a few spots for the match and everyone is welcome to come along…..here’s to the next 6 years of …………”FUNFISHIN!”……….
