Happy to say that we had another fairly busy one yesterday. Anglers from England, Wales, South Africa and Australia all getting amongst the fish.
The day started with our pal Marc and another ex pat who joined us for the morning along with a couple of fine fellas from South Africa here for the day. While the action started right from the start the fishing was just a little slower than normal for the first couple of hours but things soon picked up with Marc and his mate into double figures each with at least as many lost. The afternoon saw Londoners Carlos and Angela return for their second visit inside a week, lots of fish for them and they are already talking about their next visit to Phuket, a really nice couple and we will look forward to their return.
For the second time this week we welcomed a large group of Aussie danglers for the afternoon, we spread them out over two banks and they were into fish from the off with a terrific start for one of the lads who bagged a nice Arapaima very early on with a baptism of fire for his introduction to fishing in Thailand. It’s never easy keeping a large group going but the staff did well as did the danglers all catching, it goes without saying that some did better than others and lots of smiling faces and compliments at the end of the day was the only evidence needed to show they enjoyed themselves.
Arapaima, Siamese carp, Walking Catfish, Pacu, Tiger RedTails, Amazon Red Tails, Asian Red Tails and Java Barb all feeding well and coming out in numbers and the Arapaima have definitely been more active over the last few days. Lots of species of varying shapes and sizes with high catch rates, fancy doing battle with them ???? then give us a shout, you won’t be disappointed so come and join us for some………”FUNFISHIN!”………
