MORNING WORLD…….A busy second half of the week but the weekend has been a lot quieter than we have been used to. Lots of fish from several species with the Mekong cats continuing to dominate, a few other species showing and a few that we have not seen much of for a while but they are sure to turn back on when they are ready and the catch rates are still good particularly with a little effort applied.
Very hot right now and even with the forecast rain for some days in the coming week the temperatures continue to rise and I’m not convinced there will be as much wet stuff as some are saying….we will have to wait and see, if it does not come now it will be with us in the coming weeks for sure.
The Island has taken a short breather with less people around, but as we approach the Thai New Year Songkran celebrations more people are sure to turn up for the tail end of the high season, So why not make the most of the quieter times, there is good availability for most of the coming week. Booking is very easy through our website or in person. We do not take ANY bookings without a deposit as there are many out there that think that it’s perfectly acceptable to book places and just not turn up.
Sorry we will be now closed on Sundays from April 6 to October 26.
