MORNING WORLD……A little quieter over the last week but still busy enough and as always lots of fish being caught each day.

Our pal Mark from Islander sports Bar & restaurant in Rawai made the most of things and managed to squeeze two very busy sessions in. The first session produced loads of fish including a nice chunky Arapaima which as you can see had some real girth and Mark may need to get some longer arms. On Marks’ second session his two rods must have been getting on very well as they became three and as is so often the case they all went off at the same time….no problem, yours truly stepped in for the first time I have fished in a while due to being mainly held together by the Doctors stitches, but well healed and stitch free I joined Mark as the pair of us did battle with Mekong catfish. Our Mekong are no where near the size that these fish can achieve but in all honesty there are not many people that would want them much bigger and these brutes can challenge anyones strength….great fun and nice to see them still feeding so well this late into the rainy season.

More Mekong, Siamese Carp, Chao Phraya Catfish, Striped Catfish, Red Tails both Amazon and Asian along with other species all gracing the nets and helping to make memories for our other customers of all ages and abilities from all over the world.

There is good availability for today and the coming week when the weather forecasters tell us we have some more wet stuff coming. Nothing unusual for the time of year, we have shelter all around the lake and the fish don’t care so if you fancy a bit of a work out check out our website chalongfishingpark.com for information and online bookings, get your name in the book and join us for some…………………”FUNFISHIN!”………….🎣🎣🎣🐠🐠🐠🐟🐟🐟😎😎😎
