MORNING WORLD…….I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, there’s not much better than seeing the look on the kids faces when they catch the fish and seeing some “Dad (or Mum) ‘n Lad” (or daughter) fishing fun reminds us what its all about and how many of us started. The Thai people naturally dote on kids and the guides do a great job looking after them as well as all the other customers and for a 10 year old to bag an Arapaima is the icing on the cake, everyone wants one, everyone asks us the best way to catch one and this just shows that Lady Luck plays a big role in fishing sometimes.
Still lots of fish being caught from all the usual species and a few surprises in the mix. Our pal Dave has been fishing with us for several years now and he joined us for the afternoon yesterday. Dave is a very seasoned angler and always does well with yesterday being no exception and in spite of recovering from surgery on his hands he managed 25 fish from 9 different species for a very busy 5 hours sharing the bungalow bank with Welsh man Neil who was here for I think his fourth session of this holiday and another busy one for him too.
On our website and all of our social media we ask customers to try and book ahead ideally allowing 48 hours to give everyone time to process bookings as I am not a robot. ALAS PEOPLE DON’T TEND TO READ ANYTHING THESE DAYS BUT FROM NOW TO THE 29TH THIS IS PARTICULARLY RELEVANT AS I WILL BE AWAY FOR A SHORT FAMILY BREAK AND WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO CHECK AND RESPOND TO INQUIRIES FOR LIMITED TIMES EACH DAY.
Have to sign off now as we are awaiting another little fishy delivery……. what will they be ???? you’ll have to wait and see but I can say that its another new species to add to the list for yet more……….”FUNFISHIN!”……….
