MORNING WORLD…….Malaysia, China, Germany, England, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Russia, Czech Republic, Estonia Bulgaria, Scotland, Luxembourg and Australia all represented since Wednesday, busy, busy and lots of fish even though the fishing has been slightly slower than it can be. The Mekong Catfish continue to provide work outs for all, a good few Siamese Carp in the mix, the odd “Arry” and several other species to keep things interesting.
It was a joy to watch the young Russian lad with his Dad for the afternoon, they had bit of a slow start but when things livened up so did he and he was absolutely buzzing when the fish turned on.
Our pal Tony got among the Carp and The Cats and as ever nice to see some familiar faces again.
Busy times always bring a few more problems, one customer who came one half day and one full day deciding that he did not like using the bait runner feature on his reels so on both days his tackle got swimming lessons. A little water on the reel is no problem but being dragged through the silt on the lake bed will definitely not be good for them so now 2 reels need servicing and more importantly the gear was being dragged around the lake with a fish still attached and there is nothing good about that ! The same guy was then found to have tied a second hook to his rig which he then completely denied doing ! A tour company sent us a customer that we knew nothing about and expected us to fit them in even though we were fully booked….It keeps us on our toes !
