MORNING WORLD…..Busy every day as we welcome back many old faces from all over the world and of course several new ones too.
Our Mekong Catfish continue to dominate and they have fed throughout the year with even the smaller ones a battle and a half for any angler. Plenty of other species also in the mix with a good amount of Siamese carp showing, lots of Red tails when they are in the mood, the odd Arapaima with other fish of all shapes and sizes to keep things interesting.
We pride ourselves on our high scoring reviews on various social media platforms but we will never please them all and the latest 1 star google review was posted yesterday. The review started by saying good fishing and lots of fish and then the negatives started saying our head guide was extremely rude (anyone who knows Boy also knows that is not true), tackle was dirty, hooks blunt, not enough ground bait supplied, not enough line on the reels (all fully loaded) and to top it all he said that all our guides were smoking weed all day. Hands up, no one is perfect and sometimes the tackle does not get cleaned as often as perhaps it should when we are busy and there maybe the odd easily replaceable blunt hook but a 1 star review after saying you’ve caught lots of fish….really. I responded to his review which for the record he has changed twice since his first effort and I also informed him that defamation laws in Thailand are very strict and he should be careful what he accuses people of (for his benefit), he then said I was threatening him. I have not responded to his latest review and I probably won’t, I won’t be suing him and was never going to, more important things going on in my world but I thought people who read reviews should know what we are up against sometimes and I actually encourage people to read the rare bad reviews we get…..some people are just made that way and he has also said he was going to spread the word on all of the fishing sites…..I wish him well in his sad little life and for the record no one else complained………..”FUNFISHIN!!!!!!!!”……
