Only the second Sunday that we have opened in readiness for the high season and while things were not as busy as we would like we still had a nice mix of customers and once again some familiar repeat customers and some new ones.
Local expats Freya Eve and Dom Hodge bought their boys along for the morning, always nice to see the young ones enjoying the fishing with the family.
Uk carp angler Luke joined us for the day, he bagged up on several species including his first Siamese carp and was even thinking about winding it up early, a full day here is not the same as back home !
Other customers from the States and Russia also got in on the action and our pal and season ticket holder Dereck spent the afternoon with us for around 30 fish, not a lazy Sunday afternoon !
We have been a good bit busier of late but as we have seen in the past there is no real pattern here and there is very little in the book for the coming week. We do expect (hope) to see some late bookings and walking customers but with this much availability it’s the perfect time to wet a line.
