MORNING WORLD…..

 
Our Danish pal “Lau Kau” fished his second consecutive day and once again he had a crazy session, well over a hundred fish for his two days! He has had a lot of luck with the Arapaima of late and again they were his main quarry this time. They eluded him on Saturday with one hooked and lost but he was not going to give up and he worked hard at it loose feeding “Luum” ground bait around his float to attract the small fish with a fish bait up in the water. Lots of rolls around his float and the Redtails and Pacu often nicking his offerings but persistence pays off and he was rewarded with a nice sized “Arry” in the afternoon proving that the harder you work the better the results.
 
Our pal and season ticket holder Dave Allen joined Lau Kau in the morning and he also had some good action.
The afternoon saw another couple on the adjacent bank catching lots of Amazon Red Tails, Tiger Red Tails, Asian Red Tails, Striped Cats and Pacu.
 
The Mekong cats seem to be more active with several rising and rolling which we have not seen for a while, will this be them coming back on the feed? We hope so as these extremely hard fighting fish would really put the icing on the cake for what are already crazy catch rates with crazy prices. We are closed on Mondays but at it again from tomorrow, why not join us for some ……”FUNFISHIN!”…..🐠🐟🎣🐠🐟🎣🐠🐟🎣😎

DEALS

We have had a couple of people ask us if we are currently doing any deals and so the poster below should answer that question as we are basically offering our fishing at half price in an effort to tempt ex pats and remaining stranded tourists on the Island. All the usual things are included in the price and with very little pressure on the lake, very good catch rates are to be expected. We have removed our short 3 hour session as it would just not be worth doing and the half day package is great value anyway.
 
Please note that we do not offer hourly rates and the packages that we are offering do not even come close to meeting our running costs so please do not ask for further reductions.
 
We were also offering a half days fishing with 8 cold ones included a couple of days a week for just 1,000 baht (do the math) but we had no takers so we will have a re think.
 
Virtually all businesses here are struggling with the majority not even open and many perhaps closed for good. We are very aware that this is the same world over and this is not a cry for help, just putting it out there for you and the fish photos were all caught in the last week so why not come and catch some for yourselves and enjoy some “FUNFISHIN!”…..??????????
