MORNING WORLD…….Starting to see a good few more Siamese Carp right now. Mixed blessings since Saturday which was lively with lots of fish, much the same for Monday when our pal Gary Hird had a good mixed bag including I believe 11 Mekong Catfish so he will have known about that the following day. No two days are ever the same and yesterday morning was tough going, things improved in the afternoon but still not what we are used to but hey, thats fishing for ya and today is another day that could be completely different again.
Bang on cue the rainy season seems to have got under way which is part of the significance of the timing of the Thai New Year (Songkran) and the reason why water plays such a big part in the celebrations, praying that the rains will come for the rice harvests. The winds are changing direction and soon you will see less people bobbing around on lilos and more people jumping about on surf boards on the west coast beaches. It’s rare that it rains for long and often within an hour the sun is out with blue skys above. It’s currently pouring down so I will ready myself for last minute date changes, cancellations and no shows.

With the Easter holidays under way or imminent it’s been good to see the young ones enjoying the fishing and we expect to stay very busy over the coming days and probably into next month when traditionally things quieten down so to avoid disappointment get booking through our website and join us for some ……..”FUNFISHIN!”………
