MORNING WORLD…..

Our South African friend Glen Macdonald joined us on Wednesday morning and enjoyed a busy half-day session with well over 30 fish from several species. While we are blessed that we are allowed to open things have still been really quiet with Glen being the only customer so far this week and with the ridiculous catch rates coupled with slashed prices that can’t last forever anglers or those looking for something a little different to do with their day are really missing out on a great opportunity and quite probably having the lake to themselves, SOCIAL DISTANCING AT ITS BEST!

On a more positive note, the lack of customers has given us the chance to get on with the never-ending list of jobs that need doing and over the last few days we have upgraded our pumps and pipework that we use to get water from the nearby klong (stream) giving us a far more efficient system and larger volume of water. A massive difference is already evident, with the lake nearly full and a big thank you to our pal Steven John Wood from the Aussie Bar in Patong for all his help.

The next couple of days show some settled sunny weather and the forecast says there’s some wet stuff to follow, normal for the time of year and there’s ample shelter around the lake from both the sun and the rain so why not join us for some………”FUNFISHIN!”….YOU WON’T REGRET IT……..🎣🐠🐟🎣🐠🐟🎣🐠🐟😎

DEALS

We have had a couple of people ask us if we are currently doing any deals and so the poster below should answer that question as we are basically offering our fishing at half price in an effort to tempt ex pats and remaining stranded tourists on the Island. All the usual things are included in the price and with very little pressure on the lake, very good catch rates are to be expected. We have removed our short 3 hour session as it would just not be worth doing and the half day package is great value anyway.
 
Please note that we do not offer hourly rates and the packages that we are offering do not even come close to meeting our running costs so please do not ask for further reductions.
 
We were also offering a half days fishing with 8 cold ones included a couple of days a week for just 1,000 baht (do the math) but we had no takers so we will have a re think.
 
Virtually all businesses here are struggling with the majority not even open and many perhaps closed for good. We are very aware that this is the same world over and this is not a cry for help, just putting it out there for you and the fish photos were all caught in the last week so why not come and catch some for yourselves and enjoy some “FUNFISHIN!”…..??????????
