The Dynamic Duo

MORNING WORLD…..

 
By special arrangement the “Dynamic Duo” were back again yesterday with one thing in mind, to beat their own lake records. They’re best day to date was a few weeks ago when Rob set the record with 125 fish for the day with Albert banking 100 fish, 225 fish between two anglers in a single day….crazy fishing ! Things looked good at the start of the session and Rob had landed 3 fish in the first 20 minutes. They both continued to catch steadily throughout most of the day with Rob’s final tally 86 and Alberts 69. Although they were fishing in adjacent swims their quarry was quite different. Rob must have had a good shoal of Pacu in front of him and they made up much of his catch along with Striped Catfish, Siamese Carp, Amazon, Asian and Tiger Red Tail Catfish while Albert caught considerably more Carp and Amazon Red Tails one of which was only stocked tree days ago, one of two taken from a fiends garden pond as they were outgrowing it. You can see from the pics that this is much darker in colour than the same that we already have and both fish have now been caught, happy, hungry and ready to grow bigger still.
 
A bonus Arapaima for Albert and while they did not beat their records 155 fish between two anglers in a day is still remarkable fishing. They’re back again in a few weeks for more of the same and Rob’s confident in 150 fish for himself in a day…stay tuned.
The fish and the guides get a break today but we’re all back at it from 8am on Wednesday morning. Prices are still silly cheap and as you can see catches can be off the scale. There’s a little wet stuff forecast for the next few days but we have cover all around so if the beach or the pool are not so appealing why not CONTACT US FIRST and come to enjoy some….”FUNFISHIN!”…..🐟🎣🐟🎣🐟🎣🐟🎣😎

DEALS

We have had a couple of people ask us if we are currently doing any deals and so the poster below should answer that question as we are basically offering our fishing at half price in an effort to tempt ex pats and remaining stranded tourists on the Island. All the usual things are included in the price and with very little pressure on the lake, very good catch rates are to be expected. We have removed our short 3 hour session as it would just not be worth doing and the half day package is great value anyway.
 
Please note that we do not offer hourly rates and the packages that we are offering do not even come close to meeting our running costs so please do not ask for further reductions.
 
We were also offering a half days fishing with 8 cold ones included a couple of days a week for just 1,000 baht (do the math) but we had no takers so we will have a re think.
 
Virtually all businesses here are struggling with the majority not even open and many perhaps closed for good. We are very aware that this is the same world over and this is not a cry for help, just putting it out there for you and the fish photos were all caught in the last week so why not come and catch some for yourselves and enjoy some “FUNFISHIN!”…..??????????
