MORNING WORLD………The last month of the “high season” has come to an end and I’m happy to say it exceeded our expectations, customers and fish both in high numbers. The month of May is traditionally quiet being the first month of the much-needed “rainy season” and as the weather improves in Europe a time that many of the long-term European visitors head home for the Summer. On the plus side in the coming weeks, we will start to see more of our Australian and New Zealand friends along with others from the southern hemisphere so we can use this month for the never-ending list of maintenance jobs on quiet days.
Back to the fishing…….still lots of Mekong Catfish dominating the catches along with Siamese Carp, Pacu, Striped Catfish, bonus Arapaima, Rip Saw Catfish a few more Red Tail Cats and a nice sprinkling of Albino Striped Catfish along with others to keep the rod bent. There can be spells in the day when things slow down but on the whole, the catch rates remain high and the photos attached are just from the last two days so “nuff said” really.
We were all a little fuzzy on Tuesday morning as we had a little birthday celebration for our friend Dot, lots of laughs and way too much fizzy stuff in some great company and thanks to those who came to wish Dorothy well.
As indicated above we expect quieter days now and availability is good. That said we are a small water and it can fill up quickly so we still highly recommend at least contacting us before coming and better still pre book a guaranteed place through our website. Get your name in the book and join us for some……..”FUNFISHIN!”………..🎣🎣🎣🐠🐠🐠🐟🐟🐟😎😎😎
