MORNING WORLD…..We landed last night after a few days away and a big THANK YOU to our staff for keeping things together over the last few days. For the most part things ran smoothly and any issues will be looked into today but before I go any further please understand that language barriers will always be an issue and often things can be misunderstood.
In my absence it seems the fish were playing ball with the attached photos just randomly selected from many more since the weekend. We recently added a few more Arapaima, everyones “I want” fish, not the easiest to catch with more being dropped than landed and while these are a lot smaller than our others they grow quick so now there is an even better chance of getting one and I’m glad to say they are showing already along with a few more Alligator Gar than usual. Mekong Catfish still showing well, a few Siamese Carp with other species getting in the picture. A friend and regular customer did tell me that at times things were hard going, thats fishing and they will come when they want to.
We still continue to get a good few “no shows” usually people that don’t have the decency to let us know and give others the chance to wet a line, this may mean the end of deposits with full payment required at the time of booking. This is no different to any other excursions and if it means it scares some who don’t want to commit away then so be it. The same goes for the customer that tells us that they booked for half day and not full day. I copy and paste what they put on the request form to the invoice which then clearly shows what has been paid and what is outstanding so I can’t really get that wrong and its the customers responsibility to read what they receive. You will be charged for what you booked.
For the time being we will continue to take bookings with a deposit AND WE WILL NOT TAKE ANY BOOKING WITHOUT A DEPOSIT. Its very simple to do either in person, via a Thai bank transfer or on our website which incidentally does work if you spend just a few minutes filling the form in properly, If I can do it anyone can as there is no one worse that me with the techy 
stuff.
