MORNING WORLD………After a good start to the week things quietened down with the return of the wet stuff. Catch rates have been all over the place, some sessions easy others tough going with the changeable conditions but hey, thats why it’s called fishing and not catching.
Our pals Mark and Craig had a good session Thursday afternoon in spite of the very crappy weather. Myself and my mate “Flob” were sheltering in the bar choosing to get wet inside rather than out
on his day off from working at Aussie Bar, Phuket and at one time we could not even see the brave fishermen on the opposite bank which isn’t that far…..it was the rain not the beer that impaired our vision but they fished on with Siamese carp, Tarpon, Chao Phraya Catfish and more for their diligence.
Everyone has got amongst the fish even when the going has been slower than we are used to and it was good to see another regular customer who has become a friend, Arthur get his first Arapaima .
Just a couple of names in the book for today and very good availability for next week. We welcome walk in customers but we do still advise pre booking as a break in the weather often leads to busy days and being a small lake we can fill up fast.
