MORNING WORLD…….A little quieter than we would like since Saturday, a few in on Sunday for our first Sunday opening for the high season and pretty much fully booked this afternoon so not all bad. A little break in the weather will have directed people to the Islands and the beaches but the South West Monsoon has not given up yet and there is a bit more wet stuff on the cards.
Yours truly is having a few days away from tomorrow. We will be open as usual, there’s no rest for the wicked and I’ll still be taking bookings and responding to inquiries but perhaps not as frequently as usual so please try to allow 48 hours to process a booking……thats the bit on the website that everyone ignores !
I’ll be back on 5th Nov ready to make preparations for our “Funfishin match” on the afternoon of the 13th.
The lake will be closed that afternoon and the usual silliness, beer and banter with a little fishing thrown in will be followed by a bar b q and music (toned down to respect the passing of the late Queen Mother). There’s just a little space left if you want to join in, just a few laughs, some little prizes and good company, everyone is welcome to come along and join us into the evening and help us celebrate another year of ……….”FUNFISHIN!”……..
