MORNING WORLD…..It looks like a bit of the wet stuff has returned but in fairness we have had a week of dry sunny weather, a fairly busy second half of the week and lots of fish with several species feeding very well.
Jordan from the Emerald Isle had a very good session earlier in the week and returned for another go on Wednesday. The Arapaima eluded him yet again , a couple hooked but lost to that head shake but he still did well with the other species, a pleasure meeting him and his better half.
Our pal “Islander Mark” has really got his fishing hat on right now, he joined us Thursday afternoon and showed that a little thought can go a long way, accurate a regular feeding and not feeling the need to cast to there side side of the lake as we advise so many people that seem to know better….proof is in the pudding as they say.
It’s definitely quieter in Phuket than we are used to, low season can often mean cheaper flights and accommodation there are some that seem to think they are doing us a favour coming here and they can dictate prices. One guy told me that 3 adults and one child were coming and would share 4 rods. I told him things did not work that way, that we would not have charged for the child who was only four but we do not allow rod sharing (same as anywhere). He then came back telling me how much he was prepared to pay for 3 adults at time of his choosing that were not our normal package times. I had already sent him attachments showing all relevant information and a link to our website so he was told “no” to which he replied “let me know if you change your mind”, my answer was “I won”t !” I can’t believe some peoples audacity and this is a daily occurrence right now….rant over 
Good availability today, a rest day tomorrow and plenty of places up for grabs next week but we can fill up fast so we still advise pre booking through our website for a guaranteed but not discounted place choosing one of the three packages we offer.
